It is a privilege to offer my recommendation on behalf of Brendon and Elise Wung. Our church has been supporting their family since April 2016. Brendon has a tremendous heart for missions. Every time he has preached at our church, his passion for the gospel has been evident. His desire has been to see the Lord glorified through His church and to see disciples made and missionaries sent.

Brendon is one of the most dynamic and engaging speakers we have heard. He connects well with the entire congregation, particularly young people. He is faithful to preach God’s word, and not merely catchy phrases or clichés. He is a gifted preacher, but in my opinion, his greatest strength is his ability to engage people one-on-one. He is also a hard worker in the ministry, as he has demonstrated by his effort to plant a church in northern Africa and also by his work in Missions Mobilization.

My wife and I count Brendon and Elise to be our good friends. I have seen Brendon grow as a husband and a father, leading his family through more than one difficult ministry transition. He has shown faithfulness and joy in continuing to serve God, even in the face of challenging life situations, which is a great testimony to his character. He desires to have a ministry that is without reproach and built on godliness and integrity.

I have known Brendon for about ten years and have witnessed the continual work of the Holy Spirit in his life as a Christian brother. I have seen in him a passion for lost souls to come to Christ and for believers to be strengthened in their relationship with Him. I heartily recommend Brendon for your careful consideration of possibly becoming a part of your missions team. I am confident that he will put forth his best effort to honor the Lord and faithfully serve alongside you in your vital ministry to the lost. As I have ministered alongside Brendon in ministry here at our church, I have found him genuine in his relationship with Christ and of godly character. God has used Brendon and Elise Wung to change lives around the world. Not only have they spent significant time on-the-ground evangelizing and church-planting in North Africa, but also they have invested heavily to motivate and enable others for missions.
